SCOPE OF WORK

( 1 ) COCKROACHES

Cockroaches prefer warm and moist habitat close to food sources.  They congregate in crevices near the kitchen and toilets. They are disease carrying pests and they pose a grave threat to our health capable of spreading diseases such as dysentery, diphtheria, typhoid and hepatitis. They feed and breed in highly unhygienic environment.

                                                               

COCKROACHES MANAGEMENT CONTROL

Residual insecticide treatment/surface spray is applied to all external areas of the building such as entrance, walk ways, loading area, rubbish dump area, etc.

Chemical Used & Active Ingredient

( i ) Eventus ( Alpha-cypermethrin )

( 2 ) COMMON ANTS

Ants are nuisance pests. The presence of ants in food and drink can be irritating to many people. Some ant species are of medical importance because they carry stings that can cause pustules and blisters and they have the potential to transmit pathogenic organisms to humans.

ANTS MANAGEMENT CONTROL

Residual insecticide treatment / surface treatment  is apply to all external areas of the building such as entrance, walk way, loading area, rubbish dumping area, etc. to reduce and to eradicate the ants’ colonies outside the building area in order to reduce and to eradicate the ants’ colonies around the perimeter of the building.

( 3 ) RODENTS

Rats are disease carrying pest which live breed in highly unhygienic conditions. By gnawing through electrical wirings, they can cause fire to the premises.

RODENTS MANAGEMENT CONTROL

( a )  First Line of defence

3 nos. of Tamper Resistant Rat Bait Stations ( TRBS ) which are included glue board and are placed at strategic position and on semi-permanent basis outside the perimeter of the food production area.

These baits will be checked monthly, in order to remain fresh and palatable to the rodents.

( b ) Second Line of Defence

We suggest use the latest anti-coagulant rodents, the Storm baits which will be placed at strategic places inside the building and it will take a few days for the baits to be effective.

Chemical Used & Active Ingredient

( i )  Storm ( Flocoumafen ) or ;

( ii ) Ebor 401 ( Bromadiolone )

( 4 ) HOUSE FLY

The house fly is common pest of city, urban and rural areas. Flies can have a negative psychological impact because their presence is considered a sign of unhygienic conditions. Flies are transmitters of diseases primary because they feed on human and animal wastes.
